Writing is a way of learning, a process of discovery, and a means of sharing what matters. Welcome to the Franklin College Writing Intensive Program at the University of Georgia. Across the arts, sciences, and humanities, we help students develop as thoughtful, confident writers—and support the faculty and teaching assistants who guide them. We partner with departments to build writing into the major, collaborate with instructors to make writing a meaningful part of their courses, and create opportunities for student work to reach audiences beyond the classroom. From a first draft to a published piece, we believe writing grows through practice, feedback, reflection, and revision.
